TOM WALLER - Managing Director
Born in Bangkok (b.04/04/74), but
educated in England, Tom has been
working in the film and television industry
for over twelve years, as a producer
and director of films and
TV commercials.
He returned to Thailand with the
award-winning movie
BUTTERFLY MAN which he produced,
starring Napakpapha 'Mamee' Nakprasitte,
which was acquired and released by
GMM Grammy in 2003.
In 2004, he had the opportunity of
working with Oliver Stone on the
production of ALEXANDER.
In 2005 he produced the urban ghost story NAK: RAK TAE WINYARN KWAM TAI (GHOST
OF MAE NAK) starring Pataratida 'Tang Mo' Pacharawirapong and Siwat Chotchaicharin, based on the famous Thai legend and released by Box Office Entertainment.
In 2006, he produced THE ELEPHANT KING with Thai supermodel Florence Faivre,
Pawalit 'Bank' Mongkolpisit and Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn, which premiered at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival in April.
He recently formed Tiger Entertainment to produce and direct for movies and television. In July Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Thailand) Co. Ltd. selected Tom to direct the launch music video "El Nin-YO!" for pop queen Tata Young's new international album TEMPERATURE RISING. The iconic MV and song became an instant hit across SEAsia, staying at no.1 on MTV's video charts for several weeks and spawning numerous internet spoofs, tributes and parodies from fans.
In 2008 he produced SOI COWBOY, written and directed by Thomas Clay. The film was selected in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival. Then in 2009 he produced the romantic comedy THE PRINCE AND ME 4 for NuImage/Millennium Films.
